United Fuel grows CITGO, Valero dealer network with Ocean Petroleum supply buy
United Fuel has acquired branded and unbranded dealer supply business of Ocean Petroleum, which covers CITGO and Valero dealerships throughout southeast Georgia.
The Brunswick, Georgia-based Ocean Petroleum has divested its dealerships to concentrate on the commercial side of the business, reports Convenience Store News.
The acquisition, meanwhile, allows United Fuel to further expand its CITGO and Valero dealer network, as well as grow southward in the Georgia market.
This marks United Fuel’s second dealer supply acquisition. In April, the fuel distributor purchased the entire branded and unbranded dealer supply business of Jerry’s Oil, also a CITGO and Valero dealer.
