US: Hexagon Lincoln gets $8m order for its mobile fuel stations
Hexagon Lincoln, manufacturer of composite pressure cylinders and systems for storage and transportation of various gases, announced in a company release that it has received an order worth approximately $8 million for its TITAN® XL trailers.
The order was made by Boston, Massachusetts-based Xpress Natural Gas (XNG) to expand its already substantial TITAN® fleet, which the company uses as its standard trailer to deliver natural gas to industrial, commercial, and municipal customers throughout the United States and Canada.
"The TITAN® XL further allows the operation of a Mobile Pipeline® in places where physical pipeline build either is too costly or environmentally challenging," said Frank Häberli, Vice President Mobile Pipeline® Division, Hexagon Composites.
As part of the deal, XNG was also given the option to purchase additional trucks worth up to $16 million.
The mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) stations are set to be delivered to XNG by the fourth quarter of 2016.
