USA: ALON extends sustainable program to 100 gas stations

ALON Brands has now extended its Strive sustainability program to 100 ALON 7-Eleven fuel stations in Texas and New Mexico.

The Strive program is developed in partnership with GreenPrint and The Arbor Day Foundation. With this extension the program has quadrupled its footprint since the program initially launched in June of last year.

For every gallon of fuel purchased in Midland and Odessa as well as Lubbock and Albuquerque, ALON will plant trees locally and invest in certified carbon reduction projects, such as reforestation and alternative energy production

The Strive program has already allowed us to plant over 5,000 trees in Texas and New Mexico, and we look forward to continue growing that number,” said Jonathan Ketchum, senior vice president of retail at ALON Brands.

While benefiting the environment, the program also aims to increase loyalty and encourage customers to always choose ALON 7-Eleven stations.

Headquartered in Dallas, ALON Brands markets ALON motor fuel products at more than 800 locations and is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in North America.
