USA: Love’s opens two new Travel Stops in Tennessee and New York
The company announced the new openings that will add a total of 145 jobs to the communities it will now start serving.
Love's Travel Stops has opened two new stations in Newport, Tennessee, and Ripley, New York. The company announced the opening last Thursday and confirmed the locations will add 60 jobs and 70 truck parking spaces to Cocke County; and 85 jobs and 94 truck parking spaces to Chautauqua County.
“We’re excited to open our 19th and fourth location in Tennessee and New York, respectively. Love’s offers clean and safe places for customers to stop when they’re on the road and team members will get them back on the way to their destination quickly and safely,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s.
The locations have more than 13,000 square feet and open 24/7. Amongst their many amenities, both include 164 truck and 133 car parking spaces in total, 70 and 94 for the Newport site respectively and 94/49 for Ripley; Mobile to Go Zone with the GPS, headsets and smartphone accessories; showers; eight diesel bay; dog parks; laundry facilities and fresh kitchen concepts, just to name a few.
In honor of the grand openings, Love’s will donate $2,000 to the Ripley Central School District and the Grassy Forks Volunteer Fire Department in Newport. The Newport store is located off Interstate 40 while the Ripley one has been established off Interstate 90.
