USA: Parker’s Energy announces acquisition by Parkland
The purchase will open a wide range of fuel growth opportunities for the company throughout the United States.
Parker’s Energy has recently announced it has entered into an acquisition agreement with Parkland through its U.S. subsidiaries, Parkland USA. The energy division of the convenience store and food service firm Parker’s has confirmed it will operate under its supply division company and boost its expansion across the country.
“We’re delighted that Parkland is acquiring the Parker’s Energy wholesale fuel division and are confident that this acquisition will benefit existing customers. Parkland has a strong track record in the wholesale fuel distribution industry, an impressive resource base and private terminals to accommodate customer demand,” said Greg Parker, Founder and CEO of Parker’s.
The acquisition is expected to be fully completed by the fourth quarter. Parker’s Energy is a leading wholesale fuel marketer based in Savannah, Georgia, and it will help Parkland in its rapid growth across the United States thanks to its supply relationships and optimization processes.
This marks another step in Parkland’s rapid expansion across as an independent supplier and marketer of fuel and petroleum for the North American and Caribbean regions. Parker’s Energy will be under Parkland USA’s US Supply Corp (USSC) division orders, which is located in Houston, Texas. The USSC serves as the supply and trading platform for the nation and collaborates with its Canadian and International regions by offering supply advantages to customers throughout the company.
