UTA Edenred adds Spain to EV charging solution network

Expansion includes Benelux, France, Italy, and Poland, with full-service fleet charging options already active in Germany and Austria.

UTA Edenred has officially launched its UTA eCharge electric vehicle (EV) charging solution in Spain, extending its public charging network across several additional countries, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Italy, and Poland.

This expansion allows customers in 28 countries to access UTA Edenred’s public EV charging infrastructure, including 300 truck-compatible charging stations and fast-charging points by Milence. The rollout of UTA eCharge in other European markets is expected to continue in the coming months, as part of the company’s broader strategy to support fleet electrification and sustainability goals.

“UTA eCharge offers our customers an effective path toward fleet sustainability,” said Pierre Jalady, Managing Director of Edenred Mobility EMEA and CEO of UTA Edenred. “With this rollout, even more customers will benefit from seamless access to EV charging across Europe.”

Customers can use the UTA eCard or UTA eCharge app to charge all types of vehicles, from passenger cars and vans to heavy-duty trucks.

The platform supports public charging, home charging (at drivers’ residences), workplace charging, and depot charging at company facilities.

Currently, customers in Germany and Austria have full access to the entire UTA eCharge 360° suite, including home, work, and depot charging services. These additional functionalities will gradually roll out across the newly added countries over the course of 2025.
