UTA Edenred expands toll coverage to Czech Republic

UTA One next now processes tolls in 18 European countries, simplifying cross-border travel for fleets.

UTA Edenred has extended its interoperable toll device, UTA One next, to include the Czech Republic. With this update, the 4G-compatible on-board unit for the European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) now supports toll processing in 18 countries.

Fleet operators can activate the Czech toll context via the UTA Service Center with an over-the-air update or order devices pre-installed with the new functionality. The expansion aims to streamline toll management for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, reducing complexity for cross-border transport.

Beyond the Czech Republic, UTA One next covers major European markets including Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Hungary, and Spain, among others. The device also supports Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland, covering bridges, tunnels, ferries, and highways.

Additional features include UTA SmartConnect, a telematics service offering real-time fleet data, and parking space booking for secure truck stops across Europe. Looking ahead, UTA One next is ready for the Netherlands’ new satellite-based toll system, set to replace Eurovignettes in July 2026.

By expanding toll coverage and integrating digital services, UTA Edenred continues to support efficient, connected mobility for European transport operators.
