Vivo Energy has completed its acquisition of 100% of the shares in TotalEnergies Marketing Jordan, marking the African energy distributor's first entry into the Jordanian market. The deal, first announced in November 2025, brings around 180 service stations into Vivo Energy's network, along with the company's commercial fuels and lubricants operations.

The transaction introduces Vivo Energy's Engen brand to Jordan, extending its presence to 13 markets. Engen is the number one fuel brand in South Africa, where more than 1,000 stations account for one in every four litres of fuel sold nationally. The brand will progressively replace TotalEnergies signage across Jordan's forecourts in the coming months.

Vivo Energy now operates roughly 4,200 service stations across 29 markets.

"This is an important milestone for Vivo Energy as we expand beyond Africa into Jordan – a market with strong fundamentals and a team we have great respect for," said Stan Mittelman, CEO of the Vivo Energy Group.

Adel Saadallah, appointed Managing Director for Vivo Energy Jordan, said employees, dealer contracts and customer relationships would carry over unchanged as the business transitions to new ownership.

"We recognise that 2026 is a year of pride for Jordan: the Kingdom's 80th Independence Day anniversary and the national team's first ever World Cup appearance," Saadallah said.
