7-Eleven Taiwan has opened its first fitness gym in Taipei as part of its strategy to diversify services.
Branded as BEING Fit, the gym is equipped with weights, workout equipment, and shower rooms, and will offer group courses including Yoga and Pilates.
Located at the second floor of a 7-Eleven store near MRT Xingtian Temple Station, it runs from 6 a.m. to midnight seven days a week and will charge each gym goer US$3.36 for the first hour and US$1.34 for each subsequent 30 minute period, reports Taiwan News.
Protein supplements and sportswear, meanwhile, will be sold at the 7-Eleven store.
Uni-president group, operator of 7-Eleven convenience store chains in Taiwan, is set to roll out more gyms with a second BEING Fit already on the way.
