Brazil: Comgás opens new CNG station in Taboão
Located between São Paulo and Curitiba, this connecting route will have the largest network for gas-powered cargo transportation.
Companhia de Gás de São Paulo (Comgás) is expanding the supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) for trucks and buses in Brazil with the launching of a new CNG filling station in Taboão, on the border between São Paulo and Curitiba.
The main connecting route between São Paulo and Curitiba will have the largest network for gas-powered cargo transportation.
According to Comgás, the Taboão refueling facility for buses and trucks has four nozzles with the capacity to supply 200 cubic meters in 40 minutes.
Comgás claims that drivers can also find natural gas for trucks in Colombo, Paraná, just 375 km away from the new gas station.
Comgás is the largest piped natural gas distributor in Brazil.
