Chevron's Hawaii gas station to be rebranded as Texaco

All Chevron gas stations in Hawaii will be converted to the Texaco brand later this year as part of the sale of Chevron Corp.'s Hawaii oil refinery to private equity firm One Rock Capital.

The gas stations will undergo no major changes other than the rebranding, with One Rock Capital offering the 300 Chevron workers in Hawaii continued employment, reported Reuters.

Signed by a subsidiary from the private equity, Island Energy Services, the deal consists of Chevron´s refining, distribution and retail assets, which includes a 58,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Kapolei in West Oahu.

The transaction also includes 58 gas stations, four fuel terminals and a network of pipelines across the island state.

All Chevron customers will be able to continue using their Chevron credit cards and loyalty programs. The two gas stations which were in construction will also continue with their planned schedule.
