Circle K to migrate Nordics consumer cards to Enfuce's platform
The partnership will transform Circle K's existing closed-loop card offering into a more flexible ecosystem.
Circle K has selected Enfuce as its strategic technology partner to modernise its consumer payment card programme across Sweden, Norway and Denmark, in a deal that will see more than 400,000 cards migrated to a scalable, cloud-native platform.
The partnership will transform Circle K's existing closed-loop card offering into a more flexible ecosystem supporting purchases at Circle K and Ingo retail stations, including fuel, EV charging, car wash and convenience store transactions.
Following a review of its legacy infrastructure, Circle K chose the Amsterdam-based processor to future-proof its platform without disrupting the customer loyalty tied to the programme.
Thomas Ørnstrup Bergmann, Global Director of B2C Payment Products at Circle K, said the partnership would allow the company to modernise its payment platform, strengthen security and improve customer experience across its network. "It also gives us the flexibility to continue developing new services and strengthening customer loyalty over time," he added.
"From seamless onboarding to advanced analytics, this collaboration demonstrates how payment technology can become a true driver of long-term growth," said Denise Johansson, CEO and co-founder of Enfuce.
As part of the agreement, Enfuce will deliver digital onboarding capabilities to replace manual customer journeys, alongside direct debit functionality integrated with local Nordic payment schemes.
