Classic now offers digital receipts across service stations
The company is cooperating with Anybill to reduce costs, save resources and create new marketing opportunities.
Classic is making digital receipts available at participating service stations in Germany to enhance environmental protection, efficiency and customer communication.
The company has partnered with the start-up Anybill to enable digital receipts at participating outlets. This sustainable alternative to conventional thermal paper not only reduces operating costs, but also contributes to environmental protection.
Additionally, digital receipts offer a new platform for personalized marketing messages and campaigns directly on the receipt, which further strengthens customer loyalty.
“The digital receipts open up new channels for direct communication and marketing because we can place personalized offers and messages directly on the digital receipts. We hope this will increase customer loyalty and open up new cross-selling potential,” explains Volker Kretschmer, authorized signatory at Classic Tankstellen.
Digital receipts are issued in two steps: Customers have to scan the QR code at the terminal with their smartphones. The customer can then decide whether they want to download the receipt directly as a PDF or receive it as an email attachment.
Classic Tankstellen GmbH & Co. is part of Christian Lühmann GmbH, a family-owned company founded back in 1882. Currently, the firm operates a fuel retail network of 190 stations in twelve federal states.
