Co-op Wholesale and Roadchef extend partnership to supply WHSmith
New supply deal will bring Co-op products to 31 WHSmith locations at motorway service areas across the UK.
Co-op Wholesale and Roadchef have announced an expansion of their long-term partnership with a new supply agreement that will see Co-op food and drink products offered in 31 WHSmith stores located at motorway service areas across the UK.
Starting in early October, Co-op Wholesale will supply a selection of ambient, chilled, and frozen food and beverages, including both branded goods and Co-op own-brand products, to WHSmith outlets operated by Roadchef. The agreement builds on a previously announced strategic collaboration between Co-op Wholesale and Roadchef aimed at enhancing the retail offering at motorway sites.
“This marks an exciting next step in our partnership with Roadchef,” said Ian King, Director of Business Development and Growth at Co-op Wholesale. “It’s a reflection of the strength of our proposition, and flexibility of the model to ensure we’re bringing growth for our partners in a way that suits them and their business.”
The rollout represents another milestone in Co-op Wholesale’s growth strategy as it accelerates its presence in the B2B market through collaborations with major partners. The initiative will make Co-op’s range of products available to more travellers nationwide, further strengthening its position in the convenience retail sector.
