Co-op Wholesale has signed a new partnership with Sewell on the go, strengthening its footprint in the UK’s forecourt convenience sector. Under the five-year supply agreement, the retailer will provide products to 12 convenience stores across Hull and East Yorkshire.

The collaboration allows Sewell on the go to maintain its established brand identity while introducing an extended range of goods, including Co-op’s food-for-now and food-for-later lines. The move is aimed at giving customers greater variety, quality, and convenience at the pump.

Katie Secretan, Managing Director at Co-op Wholesale, said: “This is a fantastic business with deep roots in its communities and a genuine commitment to quality and service. Our Wholesale model is built to give partners like Sewell the freedom to stay true to their brand while delivering a market-leading range and operational support.”

Sewell on the go, part of Sewell Group, operates a network of fuel stations and convenience stores serving more than four million customers annually. Known for its community-focused approach, the retailer has built a reputation as one of East Yorkshire’s leading independent forecourt operators.

“We’re excited to work alongside Co-op Wholesale, a partner whose values and vision align closely with our own,” added Patrick Sewell, Managing Director at Sewell on the go. “Our customers across Hull and East Yorkshire can look forward to a wider, more exciting range of products in-store, while we continue to provide the same great service, value and local focus that people know and trust.”

The partnership underscores Co-op Wholesale’s broader strategy to grow its presence in the convenience forecourt market by working with regional operators who share its customer-first values.
