EG On The Move acquires MPK Garages in major UK forecourt deal
The combined network positions the business for further consolidation in an increasingly competitive sector.
EG On The Move has acquired MPK Garages Ltd, a Top 50 independent petrol forecourt operator, in a move that will push the company's UK network close to 200 sites.
The deal, which completed on Friday 1 May, involves 27 petrol forecourt, operating under Valero, Texaco, and Gulf fuel brands with Nisa-branded retail stores. The acquisition significantly expands EG On The Move's presence in the Midlands.
"The MPK acquisition marks another important step in our UK growth strategy," said Zuber Issa, CEO of EG On The Move. "MPK is a highly respected petrol forecourt operator with a strong regional presence in the Midlands."
According to Forecourt Trader's Top 50 Indies 2026 ranking, EG On The Move is the third largest independent forecourt operator in the UK, with MPK ranked thirteenth. The combined network positions the business for further consolidation in an increasingly competitive sector.
Wayne Harrand, CEO of MPK, said the acquisition was a natural fit. "Since 2018, MPK have invested in its people and its portfolio. It is fitting that our new owner has the same philosophy."
