Eni sees its Standard & Poor’s rating lowered with negative implications
Italian oil company Eni said in a statement that rating agency Standard and Poor’s has lowered Eni’s long term corporate credit rating to "A", outlook stable.
S&P also “lowered the short term credit rating to “A-2” from “A-1”.
The information was released April 22 in a statement which originated from San Donato Milanese.
A reduction in any company's credit rating means that its borrowing costs will likely be increased.
