The new 75,004 square feet station has been equipped with roof solar photovoltaic panels and an on-grid system that can generate a peak capacity of 120kWh, approximately 30 per cent more than the average energy required to run the station.

The fuel station also has Vapor Recovery Systems (VRS) to prevent and control emissions, full LED lights, and a VRF technology for the air conditioning (AC) system. Its fuel system is fully automated with an auto tank gauging and electronic leak detection system.

A range of services is available at the forecourt including automotive services, car wash, electric vehicle charging stations, a drive thru ATM, retail and dining facilities, and the 24-hour ZOOM convenience store.

“At ENOC, we keep abreast major technological developments that can be utilised to drive energy savings, reduce carbon emissions and contribute to a sustainable future," said Saif Humaid al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC.

All future ENOC service stations, as previously announced, will be powered by solar energy to support the UAE’s long-term strategy to target an energy mix that combines renewable, nuclear and clean energy sources.
