Fortech acquires EV charging platform ElectriEase
ElectriEase operates the BeaglePlug app with around 20,000 users and access to more than 434,000 charging points.
Fortech has announced the acquisition of ElectriEase, a Rome‑based software platform specialising in EV charging management, marking a strategic step in the company’s push to strengthen its position in Europe’s fast‑growing e‑mobility sector.
The deal is intended to broaden Fortech’s technological capabilities by integrating ElectriEase’s expertise in smart charging, advanced analytics and infrastructure management. Describing the move as “an important milestone,” Massimo Banci, Fortech’s Chief Business Officer, said the companies share a vision for “increasingly intelligent and integrated mobility,” positioning the group to deliver more comprehensive, interoperable solutions across Europe’s charging networks.
ElectriEase’s CEO, Marta Lapiana, said joining the Fortech Group would allow the company to “fully realise its potential,” adding that its leadership would continue to play a central role as the platform scales nationally and internationally.
Fortech recently attracted investment from Perwyn and Scouting Investments to support its growth strategy. ElectriEase, established in 2024, operates the BeaglePlug app with around 20,000 users and access to more than 434,000 charging points.
