High’s has opened a new convenience store for business in Baltimore, Maryland. The new site, located in Owings Mills, will serve as the brand’s new flagship store as it features some of the company’s latest additions to its shopping experience.

As its 60th location in the Mid-Atlantic region, the store offers customers services such as self-checkout, mobile ordering, frictionless payment and touch screen ordering for food. It also has a full assortment of products available, including some of its signature items. The 5,000 square foot storefront showcases products at sale like hand breaded chicken, handmade pizza, hand dipped ice cream and an expanded area for hot and cold dispensed beverages.

“High’s is a tremendous local business and employer that shares Merritt’s commitment to the communities in which we build. We are excited to have them anchor Red Run Commerce Center and are looking forward to our partnership as we continue to welcome more companies to this new business park,” said Whit Levering of Merritt Properties, managers of the Red Run Commerce Centre where the new store is located.

The site has twelve fueling positions and will have a first-of-its-kind Carroll Clean car wash, scheduled to open later this summer. This installation will also have a large car vacuum area outside, free to car wash customers.

High’s celebrated the expansion with a family and friends event the weekend before opening to preview the store and sample a limited menu. Over 200 employees and their families attended before the grand opening celebration set to be held on site in a few weeks. The retailer’s plans to host an all-day event including a ribbon cutting and sundae building contest. Several vendors will be on site sampling products alongside the company’s team.
