G&V Energy Group is the largest independent petrol station company in Belgium. The group operates more than 250 refuelling and charging stations under its own brand and partners such as Esso, Shell, Total, Q8, Enora, LNG Solutions Belgium and Allego and Ionity. Together with Allego and Ionity, G&V is building fast charging stations at more than a hundred energy hubs.
In addition, the group operates 31 locations such as Breakpoint, Breakpoint Foodstation, Esso Snack & Shop and Delhaize Shop & Go. After Antwerp and Diegem, G&V opened their third convenience store within a brand-new ESSO station in Waregem at the entrance and exit of the E17 motorway, between Kortrijk and Ghent.
For their brand-new ESSO service station, and third Breakpoint Foodstation, G&V Energy Group wanted to combine mobility and a vast food offering to support their growing customer base in Belgium.
G&V wanted to open a site that would be able to provide 24/7 operational availability with high-performing and reliable site equipment – both on the forecourt and in the c-store – to enhance the customer experience on site e.g. fast-fuelling, reduced wait/queue times, and provide a pleasant pit stop while travelling.
To support the new ESSO site opening, TSG Belgium expertly installed Tokheim Quantium® fuel dispensers, Tokheim Crypto VGA® OPTs (outdoor payment terminal), DFS Prizma® point-of-sale (POS), DFS Order Kiosk™ powered by FLYX, and T-Media™ by DFS.
With the opening of the third Breakpoint Foodstation in Waregem, G&V Energy Group are taking another important step in the development of their Energy Hubs. In addition to classic and alternative fuels and fast charging infrastructure, customers can now also enjoy a high-quality food experience while charging/refuelling, or as a pleasant break while on the road. The new location along the E17 in Waregem brings this vision to life: a place where mobility, energy and experience come together.
