Ipiranga has chosen the city of Canela to open its 1,000th service station featuring the brand’s new visual identity.

The Serrano Comércio de Combustíveis service station sports the “complete forecourt” model. This format includes an AmPm convenience store and a Jet Oil unit, for oil changes and minor automotive repairs.

This opening symbolizes support for the economic recovery of the state where the company was founded.

“Rio Grande do Sul is very valuable to our history, it's our starting point, where Ipiranga was born. At a time of so much commitment and initiative on everyone's part to rebuild the state, we continue to support our retailers, the people of Rio Grande do Sul and reinforce our proposal to bring the best experience to our consumers' mobility journey,” said Sérgio Groba, Southern Regional Commercial Director at Ipiranga.

The company announced the evolution of the brand last year, an initiative that aims to transform service stations and offer a new experience to meet the mobility journey of any customer.

The new layout features the Ipiranga’s colors and a renovated image alongside construction materials that are more suitable for recycling. In addition, the format is modular and allows different layouts to be configured, as well as offering lighting that reduces electricity consumption by up to 18%.
