Mexico: Samsung Pay available at Hidrosina’s 200 stations
Customers of Hidrosina gas stations in México can now pay for their fuel through the electronic platform Samsung Pay.
The newly arrived form of payment will be accepted at the more than 200 service stations that Hidrosina has in Mexco, “opening the possibility of motivating the growth of the country’s digital economy,” said a press release from both companies.
Samsung Pay is available in Mexico since January 17 and it will compete with other digital wallets such as Android Pay and PayPay. The mobile payment is now online in 17 countries around the world.
The Hidrosina Group was founded in October 1992 as a 100% Mexican investment. The company began operating 30 gas stations in the City of Mexico, later launching the ministation concept in the interior of the country.
