Oxigen eyes 10,000 ‘micro-ATMs’ at IndianOil fuel stations
Following the success of Oxigen Services’ pilot launch in 200 IndianOil fuel stations last year, the payment solution provider has recently signed a partnership with IndianOil to expand new micro-ATMs at the oil company’s 10,000 retail outlets.
Oxigen’s micro-ATM or multi-feature point of sale machine terminal allows debit and credit card transactions, cash deposits, cash withdrawals, money transfers, bills payments, IndianOil's Xtrapower fleetcard account top ups, and even bank account openings.
The partnership between Oxigen and IndianOil could generate 8-10 million transactions, worth $ 1 billion, according to The Hindu Business Line.
Oxigen Services has deployed 20,000 micro-ATMs in various industries across India, added the report.
