OXXO has inaugurated its first store inside the waiting area of Terminal 2 at Mexico City International Airport (AICM), the country’s busiest air hub. This opening responds to increasing demand for products and services in the coming months, particularly with major international events scheduled for next year.

The store is designed to provide practical, fast, and reliable solutions for travelers, whether departing, arriving, or connecting. It also reflects the chain’s vision of being more than a point of sale, positioning itself as a trusted ally that enhances the travel experience.

“Being present in Terminal 2’s waiting area allows us to accompany millions of people at a key moment in their journeys, offering them the best of Mexico for their trips, whether domestic or international. This store reflects our commitment to being close to travelers—right at the start of their journey,” said Alejandro Arellano, Operations Manager at OXXO Mexico.

With this opening, OXXO strengthens its presence in spaces that connect millions of people, offering convenience and solutions at a key travel moment.
