PetroForum MENA gathers key oil companies and suppliers from Middle East
Oil companies from across the Middle East met with international suppliers last week in the two-day PetroForum Mena event in Muscat, Oman.
The second edition of the PetroForum MENA, organized by OpenRoom Events and focused on the Middle Eastern petroleum industry, was attended by 130 delegates from across the world.
“By focusing purely on the Middle East, we are giving suppliers a targeted approach to the key players in the region, making participation incredibly time efficient for all,” said Emma Faure, Director of OpenRoom Events.
Major oil companies from the across the region such as Oman Oil, Essar Oil, ADNOC, and Lukoil had delegates at the event, who attended more than 580 meetings with suppliers during the two days.
“Petroforum has been a great way to meet new vendors, reconnect with friends and find new operational and technical solutions” said oil company delegate A Redha Nowrooz, Coordinator Planning & Developlment from Bapco.
Alongside OpenRoom’s usual meetings program, there were seminar sessions covering a range of topics including, a modern design and build project using upcycled shipping containers by ARTELIA and a study on the various ways in which water can be saved and recycled at petrol stations from Brazilian company Zeppini.
The next PetroForums will take place in 2016 for the APAC and UK regions. PetroForum APAC runs on the 7th & 8th March in Bangkok and the UK meeting will be held in Alicante on the 16th & 17th May.
