ReFuel MENA: Future service station, alternative fuels and the reimagined customer

After 18 months ReFuelForum MENA (formerly PetroForum) heads back to Dubai welcoming the leading fuel retail groups from across the Gulf, North Africa, India and Pakistan.

Retail, IT and Engineering Heads from operators including Adnoc, Emarat, Enoc, Saudi Fuel, Aldrees Petroleum, Tas’helat, Manaseer Oil & Gas, OLA Energy, JoPetrol, Agil Tunisia, Shell International, Oman Oil, BAPCO, Be Energy, Indian Oil, and IPT Energy will join a host of international solution providers for 2 days of meetings, networking and conference sessions. The event takes place on the 21st and 22nd February at the Intercontinental, Festival City, Dubai. 

A packed agenda of presentations, panels and debate address the key considerations around meeting carbon emissions reductions and the importance of engaging digitally with the customer.

From electric vehicles to digitisation, keynote speaker Giuseppe Bonaccorsi, Managing Director from Boston Consulting Group will give a deep dive into how fuel retailers should best deal with the many disruptions affecting the sector. 

The futuristic theme is continued with a presentation from Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director Retail of Enoc who talks about the Future Service Station designed for Expo 2020.

A discussion around the emergence of loyalty apps, how data driven insights can personalise the customer offering and the role of AI, The Reimagined Customer panel session moderated by Simon Martin from Kalibrate Technologies, draws on the experiences of Enoc, OLA Energy and Loyalty Partner Capillary Technologies .

And finally, PetrolPlaza’s Editor in Chief, Oscar Smith Diamante asks a panel of retail experts about their expectations around embracing alternative fuels, the technologies under consideration and what is realistic for fuel retailers in the region moving forward.  Panellists include Amhed Elbermbali, Clean Energy Business Council, MENA, Yasser Al Manasser, Manaseer Oil & Gas, Hisham Khan, Global Alliance Manager, Shell international and ABB.
