Repsol to energize SEUR EV operations in Spain
The mobility company will deploy over 150 chargers in all of the shipping firm's distribution centers throughout the country.
Repsol has partnered with SEUR to further e-mobility throughout Spain. The mobility company will become an strategic partner for energy transition and the decarbonization of the shipping firm’s fleet towards a more sustainable mobility.
Under this agreement, Repsol will install and operate more than 150 charging points at the transport company's 55 centers throughout the country.
SEUR aims to become an international example for sustainable delivery and to achieve this, the company will carry out deliveries with low-emission vehicles in 64 Spanish cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants by 2025. Currently, 13% of its fleet is already environmentally friendly and, by 2030, the company plans to incorporate 3,000 electric vehicles.
"This agreement with SEUR, one of the most important transport companies in this country, reinforces our commitment to electric mobility and helps us to continue developing a large charging network for electric vehicles in Spain. It also consolidates Repsol as a multi-energy company that is committed to all the alternatives available to decarbonize transport, such as electric mobility, renewable fuels and hydrogen," said Carlos Bermúdez, Electric Mobility Manager at Repsol.
Repsol currently operates an electric charging network of over 1,200 public access points installed, of which more than 530 are operational. The company is deploying them in strategic locations, using criteria of capillarity and interest for electric vehicle users, and accompanying the demand for this type of vehicle.
