Tom Thumb to venture into adult beverage

Florida c-store chain Tom Thumb Food Stores will open in late November a drive-thru liquor store that will offer a wide variety of wine, beer, and spirits to consumers.

Tom Thumb Liquors, which will have more than 2,500-square feet of stand-alone retail space, will be built adjacent to the existing convenience store on State Road 85, south of Interstate 10 in Crestview, Florida, according to nwfdailynews.com.

The store, equipped with a ten-tap growler station, will sell premium selection of local and imported items including fine wines from Europe and the Americas, craft beers, spirits, beverage mixers, cigars, tobaccos, and even lottery tickets.  An ATM will also be available in the store.

“We pride ourselves on responsible retailing, and believe we are well-positioned to serve adult beverage consumers with Crestview’s premier selection of spirits, craft beers, and fine wines,” said Tom Thumb Food Stores Vice President Trey Powell.

Aside from the drive-thru Crestview liquor store, Tom Thumb is slated to inaugurate on November 07 its new convenience store at 1101 Eglin Parkway, Shalimar, Florida.
