UAE: Adnoc stations connect to Civil Defence
Adnoc fuel stations in Abu Dhabi are now connected to emergency professionals through a new electronic system.
Adnoc gas stations will now be safer places after a new electronic system that connects them directly with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence has been put in place, reports Gulf News.
The system has been installed to allow members of the Civil Defence for a faster response in case of an emergency, such as a fire or a leak.
“The system allows the Civil Defence to access the cameras at the stations, which will allow us to follow what is happening, and to communicate directly with the public to provide them with the necessary instructions until the arrival of the Civil Defence teams,” explained Abdul Jalil Al Ansari, Director-General of the Civil Defence in Abu Dhabi.
By having a more direct relationship with government bodies Adnoc Distribution hopes to make their gas stations safer and secure.
