UK: MFG appoints new head of food services
Top 50 Indies forecourt operator, Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has appointed Paul Deary as its new head of food services.
Paul joins MFG from Applegreen plc where he was UK head of food operations, responsible for every new branded food development site opening with Subway, Greggs and Costa, alongside managing all aspects of their existing branded and non-branded food operations.
“This is a key appointment for MFG as we strive to build a first class ‘food to go’ offer for our customers,” said Richard Baker, MFG’s retail director.
Before this, Paul spent five years as group operations manager for James Graven & Sons who at the time operated four service stations and two Budgens supermarkets.
At the beginning of October 2016 with a combined company station network of 405 stations, MFG became the number two Indie in the UK.
