USA: Buyer of Sunoco LP's 207 c-stores revealed
Cal Convenience has acquired 207 Stripes convenience stores located in West Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, reports Press-Reporter.
Last Sunday, Cal Convenience closed the acquisition of 207 Stripe stores that still remained in the hands of Sunoco LP, the parent company. The sites will remain operating under the Stripe brand.
Jack Whitney, President and CEO of CAL’s Convenience, Inc., told Press-Reporter that the contracts hands them ownership and operation of the convenience stores, which will not change names or brands.
Sunoco LP has announced the sale last week without mentioning the buyer. With this transaction, the fuel distributing company continues to stir away from store operations while investing in its wholesale business.
