USA: Empire Petroleum appoints new CEO
Empire Petroleum Partners LLC has appointed Rocky Dewbre as the company’s new CEO. He will take over the position on Sept. 15 after the retirement of its current CEO, Hank Heithaus.
Rocky Dewbre joins Empire after serving on the Board of Directors of CST Brands, which followed his position as CEO of Susser Petroleum Partners LP.
"We have experienced great growth over my time here, as the company has grown from 414 million gallons to over 1.2 billion gallons. I think that there is a bright future for Empire," said Heithaus.
Empire Petroleum is a leading motor fuels wholesale distributor and distribution services provider to top gasoline brands.
"I am excited to join Empire and look forward to continuing to build a team focused on serving customers and the continued growth of our business," added Dewbre.
Empire currently distributes over 1.2 billion gallons of motor fuel products to over 1,500 gas stations in 29 states and the District of Columbia.
The company just recently agreed to acquire 70 Corner Store gas station from Couche-Tard.
