USA: ZIPS Car Wash hits 200 stores
The Blue Iguana Car Wash five-store acquisition expands ZIPS footprint in the greater St. Louis area to 18 centres.
ZIPS Car Wash, an express, ride thru tunnel car wash company in the United States, reached 200 stores following the acquisition of five Blue Iguana Car Wash locations in the greater St. Louis area, the bi-state metropolitan territory that includes parts of both Missouri and Illinois. The acquisition expands ZIPS footprint in the greater St. Louis market to 18 locations.
The deal follows a 2019 acquisition of three Blue Iguana locations in Kentucky and Indiana. Blue Iguana opened its doors in 2013 in Springfield, Missouri.

According to a separate press release, ZIPS opened another new location in Cincinnati, where the company will introduce car wash ceramics technology.
Headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, ZIPS Car Wash operates 200 locations in 19 states, including Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
