YPF to revamp retail network in Argentina
The company has unveiled part of its investment strategy to modernize current forecourts as well as opening new ones throughout the country.
YPF aims to continue developing its network of service stations throughout Argentina over the next two years. The company has revealed part of its Transformation Plan, which involves the opening of new service stations as well as the remodelling and upgrade of several existing ones.
According to a report by local news site Surtidores, the firm estimates that it will open more than 30 new stations and remodel another 180. The initiative also comprises the transformation of more than 250 Servicompras shops to the Full brand, including more than 350 rebrandings alongside the expansion and development of CNG in more than 200 stations.
Furthermore, the State-owned company aims to update 800 fleets and expand or improve 100 of its YPF Agro distributors.
On the other hand, YPF is looking to consolidate the success it achieved with its previous edition of Expo Red to celebrate a new edition on 12 and 13 April this year. The company moved the event to La Rural, one of the most important convention centres in the city of Buenos Aires, and will seek to promote this renewal and expansion strategy.
