The YPF app continues developing new features and services for drivers to facilitate their visits to service stations. The most recent addition to the software is a new e-wallet service that can be used to store money or pay for fuel or products in the store.

Targeted for users who don’t have a debit or credit card at their disposal, the new service lets them create a Unique Virtual Account (UVA) to receive money from other banks or virtual accounts. Customers who generate their UVA and pay with them can access all kinds of benefits and discounts from the App YPF as well as using it for any service or products transactions.

Currently, the only way to enter money is via other bank or virtual accounts, but soon they will be able to transfer money through other channels. For operators, this new payment option will have a 0,7% commission, the same as credit cards but with the difference that money is credited instantly.

The AOYPF’s Commercial Tools Committee highlighted the value of incorporating new functions to the platform that can not only enhance the user experience but also can help in attracting new clients.
