ChargeIndia launches EV charging aggregation platform
The new platform connects drivers to more than 40 charge point operators across over 1,200 cities, allowing users to locate, access and pay for charging sessions through a single app.
ChargeIndia has launched an electric vehicle (EV) charging aggregation platform designed to give EV drivers access to multiple public charging networks through a single mobile application.
At launch, the platform integrates more than 40 charge point operators (CPOs) across over 1,200 cities in India, providing users with a unified interface to find charging stations, check charger availability, navigate to locations and start charging sessions.
The app also enables payments through India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI), allowing drivers to pay directly for charging sessions without maintaining separate prepaid balances with multiple charging networks. Participating networks include providers such as Statiq, ChargeMOD and ChargeZone.
The launch comes as India's public charging network continues to expand. Government data indicates that more than 52,000 public charging stations were operating across the country as of July 2026, including over 16,000 fast-charging sites for passenger vehicles.
ChargeIndia said the platform can also be integrated with digital services offered by automakers, mobility companies and other consumer-facing applications. This would allow businesses to connect with multiple charging networks through a single integration rather than establishing separate links with individual CPOs.
