Circle K appoints Ciara Foxton to head mid-Europe, Asia operations
Former Ireland managing director to drive integration across key international markets.
Circle K has promoted Ciara Foxton, managing director of its Ireland business, to senior vice-president of operations for mid-Europe and Asia. Foxton will assume the new role next month, overseeing operations across key European markets and the company’s business unit in Hong Kong.
Foxton led Circle K Ireland for two and a half years, having previously served as finance director. During her tenure, she oversaw strategic developments including the 2024 acquisition of multiple Pelco retail sites and the implementation of a renewable energy agreement with EDF Renewables, which enabled all 168 service stations in Ireland to operate on renewable power.
In her new role, she will focus on integrating the Circle K brand across mid-Europe following the acquisition of more than 2,000 sites from TotalEnergies in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg in 2023. She will also support business operations in Asia as part of a broader international remit.
Her appointment reflects continued expansion efforts by Circle K in Europe, as the company advances integration across newly acquired networks while strengthening its presence in established and emerging markets.
In Ireland, where Circle K operates around 420 locations, the scale of its network highlights the operational experience Foxton brings to managing larger, multi-market portfolios. The company also announced her successor will be announced in the coming weeks.
