Lavazza Professional has announced a partnership with Motor Fuel Group (MFG) that will see more than 600 Coffee to Go machines deployed across the retailer’s UK network by spring 2027.

The agreement expands the reach of Lavazza On the Move, the company’s coffee-to-go offering, and reflects the increasing importance of premium beverage options at service stations and convenience retail sites.

As part of the rollout, MFG will become the first operator in the UK to introduce Lavazza Professional’s new Coffee Essence machine. The platform allows customers to choose from multiple coffee blends, including decaffeinated options, and customize drinks with additions such as flavored syrups and extra espresso shots. The menu will also include beverages such as matcha, responding to changing consumer preferences.

“We are delighted to launch this new partnership with Lavazza Professional,” said William Bannister, CEO of Motor Fuel Group. “The Lavazza On the Move brand will give our customers a greater choice along with great value and some of the best tasting coffee in the UK.”

The Coffee Essence platform also incorporates technology that monitors consumption patterns and user interactions, enabling ongoing adjustments to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

MFG operates one of the UK's largest forecourt networks and serves approximately 25 million cups of coffee annually through its service stations and convenience stores.
