Rompetrol expands petrol station network in Moldova
Rompetrol Moldova, a local affiliate of oil firm KMG International, has opened a new station in the country’s capital Chisinau.
The new station located on 14 Trandafirilor Street is the 11th outlet opened by Rompetrol in 2016 adding to its network of 75 sites in the Eastern European country, according to a company release.
It distributes oil products such as premium RON 95 gasoline, Efix RON 95 gasoline, Euro 5 diesel, Efix diesel, Efix S 55 diesel and soon Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products, all produced at Petromidia refinery, the largest refinery in Romania and one of the most modern in south-eastern Europe.
The station’s shop is equipped with modern facilities and sells food and non-food items.
With the opening of the Rompetrol’s 11th station in Moldova, 120 jobs have been created in 2016.
Rompetrol is in the country’s top 3 retail fuel distributors and further seeks to expand its network and modernize existing petrol stations.
It also operates four LPG stations, a petroleum storage facility in Kishinev, and an LPG storage facility in the village of Târnova, Donduşeni county.
