USA: 7-Eleven launches $70M marketing campaign
The leading retailer has launched a new TV advertising push as part of a broad campaign for 2021.
7-Eleven Inc. plans to invest more than $70 million in a marketing campaign this year to push its brand even further in the U.S.
As competition heats up around 7-Eleven, the convenience retail giant has tapped “Spring Breakers” director Harmony Korine and other marketing professionals in its biggest television advertising push in years, reports The Wall Street Journal.
A new full-funnel integrated campaign, developed with the brand’s creative and media agency 360i, “Take it To Eleven” embraces an attitude that makes a big deal out of even the smallest of things, and adds a youthful touch.
Company executives decided some time ago that they needed to tell consumers about their upgrades in food, operations and other areas, according to Marissa Jarratt, chief marketing officer at 7-Eleven.
With its new innovative concepts, such as the 7-Eleven Evolution Stores recently opened, and strong marketing campaigns, the retailer intents to defend its US dominance from its competitors.
