USA: Empire Petroleum acquires 70 Corner Store sites

Empire Petroleum Partners has successfully closed on its purchase of 70 Corner Store convenience store properties in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.

While Empire Petroleum's focus has been on developing a national wholesale distribution network, this acquisition springboards Empire into a multi-regional retail operator.

"Empire is excited to grow its current retail network in Colorado and Texas, while also entering into new markets in Arizona and Florida," stated Jeff Goodwin, Chief Operating Officer at Empire.

Empire has been successful in the acquisition of various assets over the last 6 years.  "We are excited to add these high quality assets to our portfolio, and to continue executing on our aggressive growth strategy in the years to come," added Rocky Dewbre, the incoming new Chief Executive Officer at Empire.

The company currently distributes over 1.2 billion gallons of motor fuel products to over 1,600 gas stations in 30 states
