WEX, Mastercard unify fleet payments across Asia-Pacific

The network brings fueling, maintenance, tolls and parking under one account for conventional, hybrid and electric fleets, with real-time spend controls and detailed line-item reporting.

WEX and Mastercard are launching what they describe as Asia-Pacific’s first unified fleet payments network, which brings fuel, fleet maintenance, tolls and parking together in a single payment experience. The companies said the program will expand across key markets in the region.

The network replaces fragmented legacy systems and lets companies see fleet costs alongside their wider business expenses. Fleet managers get real-time, configurable spending controls, automated insights within their business workflows and line-item reporting, such as fuel type and liters. Conventional, hybrid and electric vehicles can all sit under one account, with a single consolidated invoice.

According to the companies, fleet card spending in Asia-Pacific was about $310 billion in 2025, or 31% of the global total. “In 2026, the competitive advantage for fleets is found in simplicity,” said Matt Arthur, Vice President and General Manager, APAC Mobility, at WEX.

“Transportation is a critical growth engine,” said Anouska Ladds, Executive Vice President, Commercial and New Payment Flows, Asia Pacific, at Mastercard. She added: “Our collaboration with WEX is an essential example of how we scale with impact.”
